Professor Dan Tucker

Professor Dan Tucker was appointed to ACMSF in 2014. He is a Professor in Veterinary Public Health/pig medicine at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Cambridge. He is fellow and Director of Studies in Medicine and Veterinary Sciences, Pembroke College, Cambridge. He has previously worked as field veterinarian as a pig specialist and worked at Imutran Ltd as Head of Veterinary Services Unit.

Professor Tucker’s external duties include Board member European College of Pig Health Management, AHVLA national pig expert group, British pig executive pig technical Committee and UK zoonosis National control plan steering group.

He has published in excess of 20 papers in a wide range of peer reviewed journals as well as many book chapters.
