Food and You 2

In April 2024, the FSA’s Analytics Unit published the results from Wave 7 of the FSA’s official statistic survey Food and You 2, revealing that food affordability concerns have risen.

A total of 5,812 adults across England, Wales and Northern Ireland took part in Wave 7 between 28^th April 2023 and 10^th July 2023.

The Wave 7 survey covered the following topics:

·       Confidence in food safety, authenticity and the food supply chain  

·       Concerns about food  

·       Food security

·       Food shopping and labelling

·       Online platforms

·       Novel foods

In July 2023, we published Wave 6 of the Food and You 2 survey. In addition to our core topics of food you can trust, concerns about food and food security, we also asked questions about food safety in the home, eating out and the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme and food hypersensitivities.
