5. Matters arising
The Secretariat has produced an information paper summarising action taken on points arising from the minutes of previous meetings.
6. Listeria update
Members will receive an update from the Health Protection Agency on recent trends in Listeria monocytogenes infections.
7. Toxoplasmosis and food
The FSA will seek the view of the Committee on the risk of toxoplasmosis and the burden of disease.
8. Botulism in cattle
The FSA will update the Committee on developments taken to implement recommendations from the ACMSF Botulism in Cattle report.
9. Disinfection of knives
The FSA will seek the view of the Committee on alternative systems for disinfecting tools used in abattoirs.
10. Hepatitis E
Dr David Brown will update the Committee on new information in this area
Dr Judith Hilton (Chair, EFIG) will update Members on the outcome of the Epidemiology of Foodborne Infections Group meeting which took place on 19 October.
