Members will be invited to approve ACM/MIN/73 as a correct record of the Committee’s 73rd meeting.

5. Matters arising
The secretariat has produced an information paper summarising action taken on points arising from the minutes of previous meetings.

6. Microbiological status of ready to eat foods
The HPA will update the Committee on foodborne outbreaks linked to ready-to-eat foods including fresh produce.

7. Horizon Scanning
Mr Kyriakides will present the conclusions of discussions on potential or future microbiological safety issues for consideration by Members.

8. Raw Milk
The Committee will be asked to review available data on the microbiological quality and safety of raw milk for direct human consumption to assess the current risks to consumers.

9. Chicken liver pâtés
Professor Humphrey will give a presentation on Campylobacter and chicken liver pâtés

10. Rural Economy and Land use (RELU) Programme
Dr Strachan from Aberdeen University will present findings from the RELU project in relation to E. coli O157 in the food chain

11. EFIG
Dr Cook will update Members on the outcome of the Epidemiology of Foodborne Infections Group meeting which took place on 4 November 2010.

12. Openness
The secretariat will present a proposal for increasing the openness of ACMSF ad hoc and working groups

13. Codex Committee on Food Hygiene
Dr Paul Cook will give an update on the recent meeting of the Codex Committee on Food Hygiene

14. Committee sub-groups

Ad Hoc Group on Vulnerable groups
- Dr Rick Holliman will report on the progress of this group.

Newly Emerging Pathogens Working Group
- Professor Paul Hunter will report on the Group’s recent discussions

Ad Hoc Group on Foodborne Viral Infections
- Professor David Brown will report on the Group’s first meeting
