Members will be invited to approve ACM/MIN/70 as a correct record of the Committee’s 70th meeting.

5. Matters arising (ACM/963)
The Secretariat has produced an information paper summarising action taken on points arising from the minutes of previous meetings.

6. Work of GACS - Presentation from Professor Colin Blakemore (GACS Chair)
The Committee will receive a presentation from Professor Colin Blakemore on the work and remit of the General Advisory Committee on Science.

7. UK-wide survey of the prevalence of Johne’s disease in UK dairy herds

8. E.coli O157: Defra and FSA research with relevance to supershedders (ACM/964)
Dr Chris Low, Scottish Agricultural College, will brief the Committee on current knowledge on supershedding and its role in transmission of human Verotoxigenic E. Coli (VTEC) infection. [For a copy of the presentation, please contact the Secretariat.]

9. Campylobacter and Salmonella in retail chicken survey (ACM/965)
Ms Geraldine Hoad will present the findings of a recently published UK-wide survey of Campylobacter and Salmonella contamination of chicken at retail sale.

10. Campylobacter Workshop
Ms Liz Redmond will update the Committee on the outputs from the recent FSA/Defra/BBSRC Campylobacter workshop.

11. Openness (ACM/966)
Mr Bob Martin will present a paper for the Committee to consider options for more openness.

12. EFIG (ACM/967)
Dr Paul Cook will update Members on the outcome of the Epidemiology of Foodborne Infections Group meeting which took place on 5 November.

13. Codex Food Hygiene meeting (ACM/968)
Dr Paul Cook will update the Committee on the November 2009 meeting of the Codex Committee on Food Hygiene.
