4. Minutes of the 61st meeting (ACM/MIN/61)
Members will be invited to approve ACM/MIN/61 as a correct record of the Committee's 61st meeting.

5. Matters arising
The Secretariat has produced an information paper summarising action taken on points arising from the minutes of previous meetings.

6. Toxoplasmosis and food
Members will receive a presentation from the Health Protection Agency on human toxoplasmosis in the UK, US and the Netherlands

7. Botulism in sheep and goats
The FSA will seek the view of the Committee on the foodborne risk to human health linked to botulism or suspected botulism in sheep and goats

8. Safe cooking of burgers - consultation response
Professor Peter Williams will present the finalised report on safe cooking of burgers, and the summary of consultation responses for agreement for publication.

9. Codex Food Hygiene meeting
Dr Paul Cook will update the Committee on the December 2006 meeting of the Codex Committee on Food Hygiene.

10. Committee sub-groups

  • The Chair of the Ad Hoc Group on Newly-emerging pathogens (Professor Hunter) will report on the progress of this Group.

11. Update on Avian Influenza
The FSA Assessor will update the Committee on recent developments.

12. EFIG
Dr Judith Hilton (Chair, EFIG) will update Members on the outcome of the Epidemiology of Foodborne Infections Group meeting which took place on 1 March.
